Meet Our Counselors

Karla Hutcherson, LPC

Karla is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She has been an Upper School Guidance Counselor and a Principal at 2 Dallas-Ft. Worth area private schools. She also facilitates the popular “Parenting with Love and Logic” seminars. Karla is happily married with 2 children and has a passion for counseling families through challenges due to her experiences with her daughter's life-threatening birth defect. Karla partnered with TeenShrink™ because she personally knows it’s important to offer expert counseling that is convenient and comfortable for busy families.

Israel Lewis, LPC, LMFT

Israel Lewis has been in the field of
counseling since 1989. Israel is the Founder and Executive Director of the Sulphur Springs Christian Counseling Center. He works directly with the Juvenile Probation Department of Hopkins County, as well as, Child and Adult Protective Services. He is committed to providing hope, help, and healing to families throughout all of East Texas and is excited to join the TeenShrink™ team because of his passion and enthusiasm for adolescents. He is happily married to his wife of 14 years, Leslie. They have two boys, Caleb and Carter. When he is not counseling he loves training for marathons and coaching his boys in soccer and Little League.
